CAPPA Postpartum Doula Training

Many new families in our society lack the continuity of care they need following the birth of their baby. The postpartum doula helps meet this need by educating, nurturing, and empowering mothers and families towards confidence in their new roles. Postpartum doulas perform NON-MEDICAL educational, informational and physical support to postpartum families. This training is taught by Darla Burns, the Executive Director of Postpartum Doulas for CAPPA. She is a Certified Doula, Certified Postpartum Doula, Certified Lactation Educator, Certified Childbirth Educator, Certified Happiest Baby on the Block Instructor, Infant Massage Instructor and a mom to two great kids!! Join me for this CAPPA Approved Postpartum Doula Training and help make a difference in the lives of new families. This training will be held in Valencia, CA. More detailed information about the location will be given once registered into the class. October 9-10, 2010 - 9:00a-5:30pm daily. If you aren't sure where your group meets, please note the below meeting information. You are always welcome to attend circle meetings outside of your geographical location. If you want to set up a circle meeting in your area, please read the circle meeting guidelines and then let us know and we can help you spread the word.
