Upon my move to Los Angeles several years ago, I began working as an advocate in a domestic violence survivor emergency shelter. Within this job, I learned how to advocate and operate under emotionally charged situations. Outside of my time working as an advocate, I was also providing infant care to families. Both of these experiences, along with my Bachelor's in communication studies, led me to pursue becoming a doula; a career in which I can apply my advocacy skill-set and love for working with expecting families.
